Bendix Dosimeter Charger Model 906 OCDM Item No. CD V 750 Model No. 5 – Used

The primary purpose of the Model CD V-750 was to charge civil defense dosimeters (CD V-138, 730, 740, and 742). By charge, we mean adjust the dosimeter so that the quartz fiber, visible through the eyepiece as a fine line running vertically across the scale, is set at zero.

This dosimeter charger resets pocket dosimeters (namely the 138, 730, 740, and 742 models) for reuse and detection of radiation.

Pocket dosimeters are instruments worn usually on a pocket and used to measure the radiation dose exposed to the individual wearing the unit. Measured in roentgens which will record your exposure to ionizing radiation.
